Fiendish Fluoridators

If you think that Fluoridation is a benevolently misguided practice, you ought to see this.  In the 1991-1992 card game Illuminati, one can find a card which clearly depicts the intentional addition of Fluoride to the water supply and one can assume based on the nature of the game, that it is all but benevolent.  Read below for more information on the card game itself, which contains other stunning depictions of world events which have since happened since their publication.

From Wikipedia:

Illuminati is a standalone card game made by Steve Jackson Games (SJG), inspired by The Illuminatus! Trilogy by Robert Anton Wilson and Robert Shea. The game has ominous secret societies competing with each other to control the world through sinister means, including legal, illegal, and even mystical. It was designed as a “tongue-in-cheek rather than serious”[1] take on conspiracy theories. It contains groups named similarly to real world organizations, such as the Society for Creative Anarchy and the Semiconscious Liberation Army.

Durham Citizens,

As you may already know the fight to put a stop to the unhealthy practice of public water fluoridation pushes onward.

Last month we had a great turn out at the Durham County Public Health Hearing where citizens and activists stood in unison to urge our county health officials to recommend our city council put a stop to this madness.  As promised, WTVD Channel 11 showed up to capture those who spoke up on video.  This footage will be used in an investigative report due to air this November on the issue of Fluoridating public water.  The monday after our meeting, I sat down with anchor Steve Daniels to discuss the whys and hows of this issue.  I am pleased to report that WTVD is preparing a great informative report that is sure to bring incredible awareness to this issue.

We already had great success in making our voices heard last month and was promised by the county health board that they would form a subcommittee in order to review the evidence which supports our position against Fluoridation.

Unfortunately, almost 1 month later my sources say that the county health board has reneged on their promise and so far have not taken ANY action to form a subcommittee to formally review the evidence we are presenting.

While discouraging, now is NOT the time to give up – rather – now is the perfect time to show our civil servants that WE MEAN BUSINESS!

Thursday October 18th @ 5:00 PM there will be another county health board meeting and I am planning to show up and hold them accountable!  Me and a few other activists are planning on using our allotted speaking time to play a short informational piece on Fluoridation, and to ask them politely why they have not looked more thoroughly into this issue.  Afterall, it’s our HEALTH that is at risk!

Side Note – If you are interested in removing Fluoride from your tap water without petitioning your city government to do so, you are now able to order the proper filters via the DurhamAgainstFluoride website!  The filter advertised is what I personally use and recommend and is specifically designed to remove the noxious cocktail of chemicals known as “FLUORIDE!”  ALL Proceeds from the sale of these filters will go towards more flyers, more activisim and more advertising for the ANTI-FLUORIDE movement in Durham!!

Getting involved can be challenging if you’re new.

Sometime it’s just hard figuring out where to start.  That’s why we’ve created an easy way for you to “Spread the Message” about Fluoride in our drinking water.  Thanks to some creative volunteers we were able to come together and create this:

Below you will find a PDF which can be printed DOUBLE SIDED on standard 8.5X11 printer paper.  You could do card stock, or stickers, or whatever else you want – but the idea is to have 2 X flyers per/ sheet of paper.  You will need to print all one side, then flip, reload in the printer, and print the back side.  Then, cut the flyers down the middle – and hand to your neighbors!

DurhamAgainstFluoride Flyer

This was designed to be printed in black and white so it can be as economic as possible.

Durham Citizens,

The Williams water  treatment plant that supplies the city of Durham with your tap water spends over $100,000 of YOUR money adding an admitted dangerous substance to the drinking water.  Ironically, the city of Durham’s own Duke University in cooperation with Professor Brian A. Burt conducted a study when this writer was living in Durham at the age of 4-5 years.   The study involved the city turning off public water fluoridation for a period of 11 months during 1990-1991, whilst observing the incisor changes in over 1800 K-5 aged children in Durham, NC.  The study concluded no increase in dental cavities (the very claimed benefit of fluoridation), but a decrease in fluorosis – the Center for Disease Control’s admitted malady to fluoridating public water supplies.

ABSTRACT

Durham, NC, fluoridated since 1962, had an 11-month cessation of fluoridation between September, 1990, and August, 1991. The purpose of this study was to assess the effects of this break on the development of caries and fluorosis in children. Study participants were continuously-resident children in Kindergarten through Grade 5 in Durham’s elementary schools. There were 1696 children, 81.4% of those eligible, for whom a questionnaire was completed and clinical data recorded. Age cohorts were defined by a child’s age at the time that fluoridation ceased. Caries was recorded in children in the Birth Cohort through Cohort 3, and fluorosis for children in Cohorts 1 through 5. Caries was assessed in the primary first and second molars according to the decayed-filled index; fluorosis on the labial surfaces of the upper permanent central and lateral incisors was assessed by the Thylstrup-Fejerskov (TF) index. Mother’s education was associated with caries; higher education of the mother had an odds ratio of 0.53 (95% CI 0.40, 0.76) for caries in the child. No cohort effects could be discerned for caries. Overall prevalence of fluorosis was 44%. Prevalence in Cohorts 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 was 39.8%, 32.3%, 33.0%, 62.3%, and 57.1%, respectively. These cohort differences remained statistically significant in regression analysis. It was concluded that while the break had little effect on caries, dental fluorosis is sensitive to even small changes in fluoride exposure from drinking water, and this sensitivity is greater at 1 to 3 years of age than at 4 or 5 years.

This incredible hipocrisy and public health danger should be stopped as soon as possible!  Spread the video and the study to all mindful citizens!
